PUPPY DOG EYES

Click the image or title for fine art prints

Monochrome Close-up view of a young Labrador Retriever lying on the sand with head resting on paws looking up with classic puppy dog eyes. Anyone who has a pet, especially one as cute as this beautiful black lab, knows the power of those puppy dog eyes. With the right look they can turn anger into adoration, frustration into acceptance, or even fenagle an unscheduled treat their way. This guy was a complete stranger to me, but he definitely was able to work his charms, and received many a petting, and a few snacks during the time I shared a little section of the lake shore with him. NATURE WANTS PEACE

Selective color (monochrome with a touch of red in the center) close-up shot of a bunch of wild flowers in nature in full bloom, growing in a pattern similar to a peace symbol. While this is most likely just a random pattern that these flowers grew in, nature can communicate with us if we would just take the time to look and listen. WE'RE ALL SO SMALL

Click the image or title for fine art prints

Monochromatic, double exposure close-up shot of slightly overgrown grass and weeds. Shot from a perspective, and focal length to convey a sense of being bug sized, and being immersed in the "jungle" that is so commonly overlooked in our yards, parks, fields, and so forth. One might look at this image and feel that this is just a photo of some section of lawn somewhere. Or, one might take into account the title, the appearance of the blades and stalks being larger than life, and feel that the message is clearly that we, along with our problems, accomplishments, thoughts, feelings, and so on, are really insignificant when compared to the rest of the world, or universe for that matter. And still yet, one could possibly see the beauty and complexity of just a single blade of grass, realizing that like us, they are meant to come together and become even more amazing. Whatever your interpretation, it all comes down to perspective. Shot in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. © Rob Heber - All Rights Reserved.
